This Privacy Policy describes how Hifz.World (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Hifz.World iOS app and related services.
Who we are

Information we collect
- Account information — When you Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address.
- Profile details — Display name and related account fields stored so you can share decks and join review sessions.
- App content you create — Mushaf decks, shares, review sessions, mistake marks, and optional product feedback you submit.
- Technical data — Standard server logs (such as IP address, timestamps, and request paths) may be generated when the app talks to our API. We do not use this for advertising.
How we use information
- To provide and sync core features (account, decks, sharing, review, feedback)
- To respond to support requests
- To keep the service secure and reliable
- To enforce a minimum app version when a critical update is required
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run the product:
- With other users you choose to collaborate with (for example, shared decks and review marks)
- With infrastructure providers that host our API and database (currently Railway / Postgres), under their security practices
- When required by law
Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple. Apple’s handling of authentication data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Tracking & advertising
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.
Data retention
We keep account and app content for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your account and associated server data from within the app: open the drawer (menu) while signed in → Delete Account. You may also email nabeel@iqra.life for assistance.
Children
Hifz.World is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Your choices
- You can use Mushaf reading features without creating an account
- You can choose what name/email Apple shares at sign-in
- You can delete your account in the app (drawer → Delete Account), which removes your account and associated server data
- You can also request access or deletion by contacting us
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
